 ROYAL JELLY.Royal jelly is a substance secreted by young working bees dedicated to the
rearing of the brood. Produced by the highbrow salivation glands positioned at the sides
of the head, these glands are joined by a narrow passage that leads to the bee's mouth.The
Queen bees feeds on royal jelly for her entire life span.
Royal jelly is above all else a stimulant capable of
improving ones general state of well being, aiding the inter-cellulare metabolism. A
energizing substance, royal jelly assists in the acquisition and maintenance of body
weight. Commonly used for the treatment of abstinence,depression, neurasthenia, impotency
and fatigue, royal jelly also helps prevent early aging of organs and the skin.
COLOR- Pale yellow- white. AROMA- strong, simular to that
of phenol. TASTE- Acidic. ( PH close to 4 )
CONSISTENCY- Paste like, gelatine.
CHEMICAL COMPOSITION- Water 66%, glucide 14%, protide 10%,
liptide 6%, undetermined R factor 3%, different identified substances 1% of which- mineral
salts and multi-elements, vitamins( predominately B-group), hormones, antibiotic
substance.
